- Australia's premier in-service support organisation for instrumental
music teachers and community band and orchestra directors, pledging ongoing
commitment to the growth of music education and community music making throughout
all areas of the country. ABODA is the only in-service organisation in
Australia specifically for ensemble directors and communicates with other
professional development organisations both locally and internationally.
- Australian Choral Conductors Education and Training (ACCET)

ACCET provides conductor training, voice and repertoire information.
Also, ACCET runs an annual Summer School in Melbourne for choral conductors
at all skill levels: from beginner to advances.
- Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS)
- ANATS encourages vocal education and research and provides its members
with a forum for the exchange of ideas and
information in the many fields of singing and voice science.
ANATS maintains international affiliations with equivalent overseas
associations.
- Australian National Choral Association (ANCA)
- ANCA offers professional workshops for choir trainers, choristers,
conductors, in various areas of choir training.
ANCA's National Youth Choir of Australia (NYCA) provides a flagship for the
talent of our young singers.
ANCA organises the visits of many international conductors and networks
internationally for the benefit of members.
- Association of Music Educators (Vic) Inc (aMuse)
- aMuse organises professional development programs for primary, secondary and
instrumental music teachers and organises student performance activities
including master classes and festivals.
- Australian Society for Music Education (ASME)
- ASME was established in 1967. Its establishment followed discussions
between nationwide representatives after the successful UNESCO Conference
on Music Education held in Sydney in July 1965.
The purpose of ASME is to encourage and advance music education at
all levels as an integral part of general education and community life,
and as a profession within the broad field of music.
- Community Music Victoria (CMV)
- Through 'Victoria Sings', its VicHealth-sponsored
community singing support program, CMV assists individuals and groups to find
a group to sing with, start their own, make the one they're in more
enjoyable, and offer all sorts of advice for those who want to find some
harmony in their lives.
- National Youth Choir of Australia (NYCA)
- NYCA comprises singers aged 18-28 years who meet for one or two seasons of about two weeks
per year. The group performs a wide range of sacred and secular music and features new
Australian choral music, including works by members of NYCA itself.

- RSCM Australia
- RSCM Australia is a national ecumenical church-music association
that aims to assist and encourage all who are concerned with church
music in Australia. Formed in 1995 by the federation of the Australian
branches of The Royal School of Church Music, it was officially launched
in January 1999.
